Practice

We practise at Chilton Community Room every Thursday from 8pm-10pm, and once a term we start earlier for our younger/beginner dancers, from 7.30pm-9.30pm. Don’t worry if you have never danced North West before, we’ll teach you everything you need to know! We welcome both female and male dancers as well as musicians.

Dancing Out

From April till September (ish) we dance out at various pubs in the area, again, mainly on Thursdays. We also dance at folk festivals at weekends. We have danced at Oxford Folk Festival, Wimbourne Folk Festival, Wallingford Bunkfest, Whitby Folk Week, White Horse Folk Festival and Swanage Folk Festival, to name a few. We are a very friendly side and love to camp at the festivals. Don’t worry if you don’t like camping, we also have a few members who love B&Bs!
